Merry Christmas!

What a wonderful day we had! Santa came last night and Levi was so excited to see his new basketball hoop! We spent all morning opening gifts.... boy, are we spoiled!! Levi's favorite part was sitting on the packages and ripping off all the paper. Two of Levi's Grandpa's as well as his Uncle Micah were able to join us for the day. Our friend Jan also came by and joined in the festivities. Dinner was amazing! Definitely a very Merry Christmas for all!

'Twas the Night Before Christmas...

It's Christmas Eve... time for a few of our favorite traditions (some new and some old). I read Little Levi "Twas the Night Before Christmas", a book that I had when I was a child. He was wide eyed and excited the whole time as he learned about the magic of Christmas Eve. We then went outside and sprinkled oats and glitter on the front lawn so Rudolph could find us. Then came the cookie plate for Santa... oreos, carrots, and a can of beer! When Brittany and Blake came over we looked for the pickle in the tree. Blake was the first to find it, although it took quite awhile. Now it's time for bed... "Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!"

We've spent all month talking about Santa Claus with Levi and he definitely recognizes who he is. Now it's time to go visit him in person. After TWO WHOLE HOURS in line at Bellevue Square, we finally sat with Santa. Levi waved as we got close, but then was a little unsure about sitting on his lap...  Mommy and Daddy ended up in the picture so we didn't have a crying-baby-on-Santa shot (although, I'm sure that would have been cute too).

Our Christmas Elf

Levi's Gramma and Grampa Wood sent Levi a Christmas Elf. Levi was happy to see him and welcomed him with hugs and kisses. He might look sweet and innocent, but this little pixie sure runs amuck around the house! Every morning when we wake up he's someplace new!

Ugly Sweaters

Tonight we went to an Ugly Christmas Sweater Party at Bryan and Amy's house. We made my sweater with puff balls and Eric's with battery operated Christmas lights. Levi's was a little too cute to be considered "ugly".
